That’s probably what I love most about weddings.
I grew up with a small family, so there’s always been something fascinating to me about stepping into a room filled with generations of people who know one another in completely different ways.
The friend who knew you at sixteen. Your grandmother watching from across the room. Your parents hearing the vows. The cousin who somehow ends up at the center of the dance floor.
I show up wanting to understand who everyone is and why they matter to you.
Every room is full of stories.
I’m Kasey.
I’m the filmmaker and editor behind Mood & Tone.
I love beautiful images, old camcorders, ambient sound, long conversations and the little pieces of a wedding that probably weren’t written into the timeline.
But more than anything, I’m interested in people.
My job isn’t to turn your wedding into something it wasn’t. It’s to notice what was already there, then connect those pieces into a film that feels intentional without losing the life inside of it.
For the moments too alive to direct.
